Donald Lennard is a Senior Consultant at DeMarche and a member of the Board of Directors. He serves as the chairperson of the Manager Review Committee for Alternative Assets, which previews, monitors, evaluates, and sustains ongoing due diligence for strategies in alternative asset classes. He is also a member of the Manager Review Committee (MARC) and the Asset Allocation Committee.
Before rejoining DeMarche in 2012, Mr. Lennard served as a Senior Investment Officer for Private Markets at the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS), where he was responsible for a portfolio exceeding $2 billion in assets. The private capital investments he oversaw and implemented during his tenure contributed to the performance that resulted in the American Investment Council recognizing the KPERS portfolio as one of the top 10 private equity funds as of 2019. Mr. Lennard first joined DeMarche in 2000 as the Director of DeMarche’s manager research staff. Before that, he served in several positions in corporate finance at Sprint, including a Director position at Sprint’s Brazilian subsidiary IntelliJ. Mr. Lennard is also an adjunct professor at The University of Saint Mary, teaching graduate courses in finance and operations management.
Mr. Lennard earned his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Avila University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Truman State University. He holds a FINRA Series 65 Securities license.
